===== 장점 =====

  * difficult intubation시 유용,
  * 치아 또는 laryngeal trauma, laryngospasm, bronchospasm 감소
  * neck mobility와 muscle relaxation이 꼭 필요없다.

===== 단점 =====

  * aspiration 증가
  * prone 또는 jackknife자세에서는 less safe
  * airway의 less secure, 마취가스 leak 가능, gastric distention 유발가능

===== 금기 =====

  * full stomach (임신, hiatal hernia)
    * PIP가 더 증가하면, 식도를 열리게 하여 위 팽창 및 aspiration 증가
  * PIP 30cmH2O이상 필요한 low pulmonary compliance
  * pharyngeal질환 (abscess, 폐쇄)
